The Aquatic Eversource is an early-game infinite water source item. It is relatively cheap and easy to research.

Tooltip

Two buckets can make an ocean, but one should be enough. Right Click to create or evaporate water. Sneak Right Click to switch between placing and removing water.

Usage

The Eversource acts as an infinite bucket of water in its fill mode and an infinite empty bucket in its drain mode. Modes can be switched by Sneak Right Clicking.

The Eversource can also be used in a crafting grid with particular blocks and items to fill them, such as solidifying concrete powder, turning dirt to mud, and filling buckets and bottles with water.

Geomantic Stele behavior

Generates a water source block above the Stele Construct every tick. Places it in a 3x3 if [Floodgate] is enabled.

Carrying numerous water buckets is a waste of inventory space.
A rudimentary contraption capable of portable condensation should alleviate this issue.

The trinket I created can pull water straight from the air to produce limitless water.

A reversal of the process lets me use the trinket to evaporate any fluid type.

Using the Eversource will generate or drain water.

Sneak Using will switch the mode of the Eversource.
