Tome Entry
The primitive portals I have seen are so deceiving, they give the illusion of reliable two-way passage, when no such connection exists. They simply shunt me wherever they feel, and I'm fed up with it.
My advancements in Stellar-Leyline cartography and navigation can pinpoint any location in any dimension and chart a path through the leylines with frankly stunning accuracy.
A marked Waystone should be all I need to create a two-way bridge as long as there is something to stabilize the bridge on both ends.
Thus enters my Astral Gateway, a receptacle for a Waystone which will create a two-way portal to another Astral Gateway!
It needs only three things, a Waystone to be attuned to the receiving Gateway by Using an unattuned Waystone on a placed Astral Gateway, a suitable rectangular frame made of any solid material for both Gateways, and a steady supply of Stardust for both Gateways to maintain the link.
Once given these three things, a simple redstone signal will begin the linking process. Even a short pulse will cause the Gateway to be locked open for long enough for me to pass through.
Additionally, the Gateway can store many Waystones in its storage, waiting for use, as well as the active Waystone being able to be hoppered in and out. Stardust can also be supplied via hoppers.
Lastly, I can allow each Gateway to let it act as both a sender and receiver, or restrict it such that it can only receive an activation from other Gateways, or make it so it can only be the one to activate other Gateways.
