Tooltip

A handheld device that rips rifts in reality like a portal. The shifter must be taken to each Dimension to unlock their mode. When in Nether mode, the shifter tries to find the nearest portal. When in End mode, the shifter teleports between world spawns. It requires the flowing of time to recharge it. Right Click to activate the shifter. Sneak Right Click to switch modes. Charged - 100%

Rarity: Exotic

Portals are nice, they create a safe, stable connection between worlds, but they take setup. Safety is not a concern for an Arcanist of my caliber. I can just make an unstable rift long enough to slip through.

However, the Shifter needs some dimensional energy from the destination before it can rip open a rift to the destination.

For some fraction of safety, if the Shifter finds a portal near the destination, it should sync my rift to its location.

Sneak Use to switch the Shifter’s target dimension.

Using the Shifter activates its warmup.

Taking damage prematurely disrupts the rift, causing the Shifter to require time to recalibrate.
