Template:Tome entry
Displays an item's entry from the Tome of Arcana Novum as a single tome page that grows with the text. Item pages use it in their Tome Entry section.
This is not for writer-authored lore. The Lore section and the
Lore: namespace are for writing about the Gods and the world; this
template holds the mod's own book text, verbatim.
In game, the entry is split across many small book pages. On the wiki the whole entry appears as one continuous page of ordinary text, so it can be read in one go and copied cleanly. The decorations are CSS only and are never included when the text is copied.
Parameters
1- The entry text. Separate paragraphs with a blank line. Always write it as
1=: without that, an=anywhere in the text would be read as a parameter name and the entry would silently disappear. name- optional. The item's name, shown centered at the top.
rarity- optional. Shown below the name as "Rarity: …". Pass it as a rarity span so it takes the tier's color:
<span class="rarity-empowered">Empowered</span>.
On parchment the in-game rarity colors are too light to read, so inside the tome each rarity uses a darker "ink" shade of the same hue.
Pages generated from mod data fill all three automatically — you only need this template when adding an entry by hand.
